Weekend rides 2/3 September

August departs and September arrives which often means fine, warm autumnal cycling. Or torrential rain drive on by hurricane force winds. Fingers crossed that this weekend’s club rides sees weather of the former type. All rides depart from Broadribb Cycles on George Street, please be there 15 minutes before the start time to allow for the briefing and bike check.

At the time of posting, Garmin’s website and routes have gone into meltdown and are not being displayed correctly.

Saturday 10am: Andy and Rob take the 12-14mph gentle cafe ride up to Redwings as part of a 28 mile leg-turner

Sunday 9am: The legs need to turn a bit quicker for the club’s fast ride, a 55 mile figure of 8 out to Stratford which will be led by debutants Mel Seale and Stephen Lee. Best of luck guys! Expect +18mph for the non-stop ride.

Sunday 10am: The Green Room at Brackley is the half way point for coffee and cake on the 38 mile, 16mph Intermediate ride that John and Bill will be running.
