TT #7 K4/20 Wednesday

Leave the TT bike at home*, let the leg hair grow, drop the aero-aids and rock up to the Banbury Star CC Athlete’s Time Trial on our 20k course where you can demonstrate your prowess on two wheels (or one, or three?) whilst wearing period costume as ably demonstrated by Brian Reid of Golden Age Cycles and Team Cherwell’s Darren Alexander at the 2017 event.

The detailed rules: standard road bikes or less, no TT bikes, no deep rims, no aero bars, no pointy helmets etc. You can of course ride a TT bike and go full lycra but your time won’t count.

Sign-on will be at Ludlow Drive starting at 1800 and then closing at 1840 promptly for that 1900 start. New for this season is the ability to register taking part on the club’s Facebook group which will have a message from Keri Williams from Tuesday onwards. Entry is £2 for club members who haven’t paid the TT supplement and £4 for non-members. This will no doubt be a popular event so if you are driving please park considerately on Ludlow Drive (we are not allowed to park in Warkworth Close).

The timekeeper is Keri, we are being launched by Blaine Carpenter, with Brian Reid and Carmen Hancock plus Team Cherwell acting as marshals.
