Weekend rides 13th July

This weekend we have two rides planned.

Saturday 10am Gentle Cafe Ride: The 12-14mph average speed Gentle Cafe Ride is going out to Duns Tew and features a coffee stop at The White Horse as part of a 28 mile loop.

Saturday 10am Intermediate Ride: The same coffee stop at The White Horse, but a faster average of 15-16mph over a longer route of 33.5 miles.

Banbury’s People’s Park celebration The plan will be to meet at the Town Hall at 0950 ready for a 1010 departure which then goes up the High Street to Banbury Cross and then into the Park where a full programme of activities will take place. The club gazebo will be up with some bikes on display to show the townsfolk what cycling is all about and help promote the club.

If you’re able to come along and be part of the parade and show your support it will be great to see you.

As we are short of ride leaders, there’s no 10am Intermediate ride on Sunday. However I’m planning on doing a lap of the 20K leaving Broadribb at 9am to get back into Banbury for 09:50.

All rides meet at Broadribb cycles 15 minutes before the departure time. It’s important you pick a ride that’s commensurate with your ability levels.
