This weekend’s rides

The club ran three rides last weekend with Sunday’s 0830 and 1000 groups enjoying some fantastic autumnal weather which looks set to return this weekend.

Here’s a description of the routes:

Saturday 10am, meeting at Broadribbs Cycles: heading over to Chipping Norton for coffee and cake, a 29 mile ride at 12-14mph average and led by Andy Perry

Sunday 0830, meeting at the Dog and Gun pub, 52 miles at a brisk 17-18mph of an anti-clockwise loop up to Napton including a descent of the high-speed Sunrising Hill. Tom Giddings has stepped up to lead the group.

Sunday 1000, meeting at the Dog and Gun pub and going to Lower Heyford for coffee and cake alongside the canal. Bill Ord and John Tustian will be leading.

Full details are on the club rides section and Garmin maps can be found for each ride if you go to the club rides calendar, select an event and then click on Learn More.

Non-members are welcome to come on up to three “taste it and try it” club rides prior to joining and becoming a full member.

Happy riding 🙂
