The weather hasn’t been kind the last few weekends with either heavy rain or frost causing the cancellation of the planned rides including having Cycling Weekly magazine along for a feature on the club. That ride is being replanned.
This weekend we plan on hosting the usual three rides which are weather dependent so please have a look on the club’s Facebook group for any last minute changes or postponements.
Andy Perry is taking the Saturday gentle 10am cafe ride out to Eydon for a ride of just under 30 miles including a half-way coffee/defrost stop. Meet at Broadribb Cycles from 0945 onwards.
The Sunday fast ride meets outside the Dog & Gun for an 0830 departure out to Chipping Campden, 52 miles at 17-18mph and a few hills thrown in to keep things toasty. Ride leader needed please.
If that sounds too much like hard work, the 10am intermediate ride of 38 miles will be led by Bill Ord and John Tustian and goes south for a pitstop at one of our favourite stops – the Killingworth Castle at Wootton.
