The weather may play a part with our planned rides as the temperature isn’t going to get much above freezing and there is the risk of snow flurries. Please check on Facebook and Twitter before you leave home if we’ve had to unfortunately cancel at the last minute.
On Saturday Andy and Rob navigate the easy cafe ride group, which is suitable for riders of all abilities, out to Canons Ashby and its stunning National Trust house where the group can defrost in the cafe. Meet at Broadribb Cycles from 0945 onwards for a 10am departure.
Bill and John are in charge of the Sunday 10am ride, going out to Wyatts garden centre and returning up Whichford Hill which is always fun with cafe legs. This ride meets outside the Dog and Gun and leaves promptly.
The more observant will note there’s no 0830 ride this Sunday as we have no ride leader available.
Please ride within your limits and don’t put yourself or the other riders at risk, especially if freezing conditions arise. We’ve seen one member recently have a nasty incident whilst riding with another club which put him into hospital and he’s now off the bikes for months whilst recovering.
