The changing of the clocks to BST and the loss of an hour in a warm bed is compensated by the start of the Banbury Star CC time trial season which kicks off on Wednesday evening with a 5 mile “come and try it” event on the K4/5 course from Gaydon to Kineton and back on what is a reasonably flat course with an excellent road surface.
The TT is not just open to club members as non-members can also come and try their hand for a small fee of £3 payable to the timekeeper at sign-on which takes place from 5.15pm onwards in the layby located just south of Gaydon on the B4100. The first rider will start at 6.01pm.
