After the rather warm 30-miler test of last week, this Wednesday’s time trial should prove a welcome relief as we pedal for only half of that distance*. So there’s no excuse for not coming along to the Herb Centre layby on the Warwick Road to sign-on from 6pm for two laps of the course. Chris Bagnell has been trusted with the watch this week and will be assisted by Brian Reid, Justin Belcher and Tom Hill.
*it wouldn’t be a Banbury Star time trial without a small climb thrown in for good measure so don’t let the double ascent of the Knowle at Edge Hill put you off. After all, the road racers have to do it three times so we’re actually getting off lightly. So be like Geoff and embrace the challenge of the Hilly 15 TT.
