This week’s time trial may well be the shortest we do each seasib, but don’t let that fool you as it’s up there with the most brutal. Yes, it’s the return to everyone’s most favourite hill at Burton Dassett to compete for the Durran Cup in the hill climb where riders dodge cattle grids, sheep, sheep s**t for little more than a minute’s worth of effort.
Pete Dumbreck showed he’s just as quick on two wheels as four when he set a new course record of 1m04s last year. Will that time be beaten this time around?
Turn up from 5.30pm onwards at the bottom of the hill, the first off is at 6.30pm.
