Summmer (pah!) may be drawing to a close but what better time to come on a club ride this weekend. Here’s a summary of what’s on offer:
Saturday 10am: The Bank Holiday weekend kicks off with a gentle cafe ride out to the Chandlers Arms at Epwell, a favourite coffee and cake stop. Andy and Rob take charge of the 28 mile ride which will average between 12-14mph
Sunday 9am: Ian is taking the club’s fast ride for a 50 mile jaunt down to Adlestrop for a non-stop ride that features a few lumpy hills along the way.
Sunday 10am: A less-strenuous ride will be taken by John and Bill up to Lighthorne which takes in the route of our upcoming 5 mile Time Trial course. Expect 16mph over the 40 mile route.
Monday 10am: keep an eye on the Facebook group as there’s likely to be a group out for those not racing in the Leyden Plaque
