The falling leaves signal it’s time for our Autumn Reliability Ride which takes place this coming Sunday preceded by a warm-up ride on the Saturday and for those who don’t fancy becoming lost in the Cotswolds we will also be running the Intermediate ride. The Reliability Ride starts from Woodgreen Leisure Centre, the other two from Broadribb Cycles, please be there 15 minutes before the leaving time.
Saturday 10am: Rob and Andy will be leading the gentle cafe ride out to Hinton for a £4 coffee and cake special deal.
Sunday 9am: The big one! 62 miles down to Burford and back through beautiful Cotswold scenery with a few climbs thrown in for good measure.
Headquarters and ride starting point will be at Woodgreen Leisure Centre, Banbury, OH16 0HS. The HQ will be open from 0830. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time to sign on and pay.
Entry fee is a mere £2.
There will be 3 start times:
0900: Leisure Pace. For riders stating a time of 4 – 4 1/2 hours.
0915: Intermediate Pace: For riders stating a time of 3 ½ – 4 hours.
0930: Fast Pace: For riders stating a time of 3 ½ hours or less. A much sought after and highly revered certificate will be awarded to any riders who manage to stay on course and complete the route in their stated time.
Sunday 10am: For those who want a lie-in/something easier, John will be taking the Intermediate ride out to Wyatts on a 33 mile loop that also takes in Hook Norton and Brailes.
