It’s a long weekend and a busy one for almost twenty Star riders who are competing for the club on Saturday in the Coventry 10 mile Open time trial. As well as our usual five rides there will also be an additional one on Bank Holiday Monday.
Saturday 10am Gentle Cafe Ride: As part of a 26 mile route which we will ride at an average speed of 12-14mph, we will stop at Brackley for coffee and cake.
Saturday 10am Intermediate Ride: The intermediate ride also goes to Brackley but on a longer route of 31 miles and a slightly faster pace, around 16mph
Sunday Long Intermediate and Fast Rides 9am: The long intermediate and fast rides are going out to Aynho which doesn’t sound far but will cover 50 miles in the process, expect an average for the former at 16mph and the latter 17-18mph. Neither of these rides have coffee stops.
Sunday 10am Intermediate Ride: The second Sunday intermediate ride is going out to Moreton on a 41.6 mile ride. Expect 16mph.
Monday 10am Intermediate Ride: The bonus Monday Bank Holiday intermediate ride is going out to Moreton on a 41.6 mile ride. Expect 16mph.
All rides meet at Broadribb cycles 15 minutes before the departure time. It’s important you pick a ride that’s commensurate with your ability levels.
