Here are the routes for this weekend’s club rides where once again it looks like we’ll be blessed with good weather.
Saturday 10am Gentle Cafe Ride: We are going back to the Castle at Edge Hill who are the club’s latest sponsor of our upcoming road race – the Women’s QOM trophy. Our ride is somewhat less strenuous though and doesn’t involve 3 climbs of the Knowle! It’s a 25.8 mile route suitable for all abilities and we’ll average 12-14mph
Saturday 10am Intermediate Ride: The intermediate ride joins the gentle at the Castle but on a longer route of 32 miles and a slightly faster pace, between 15-16mph
Sunday Long Intermediate and Fast Rides 9am: The long intermediate and fast rides are going on a new route up to Staverton expect an average for the former of >16mph and the latter 17-18mph. Neither of these rides will be stopping for coffee.
Sunday 10am Intermediate Ride: The second Sunday intermediate ride is going out to Chacombe on a 37 mile ride. Expect 16mph with a stop at The George.
All rides meet at Broadribb cycles 15 minutes before the departure time. It’s important you pick a ride that’s commensurate with your ability levels.
