The longest day has been and gone and it’s all downhill from now until winter embraces us with her icy grip. But not just yet as the weather looks great for this coming weekend’s club rides.
Saturday 10am Gentle Cafe Ride: The Merrie Lion in Fenny Compton is the mid-ride destination for the gentle cafe ride, a 28 mile affair taken at a gentle pace of 12-14mph so suitable for all riders.
Saturday 10am Intermediate Ride: The same coffee and cake stop at Fenny with a few extra miles thrown in and at a faster pace, between 15-16mph.
Sunday Long Intermediate and Fast Rides 9am: The long intermediate and fast rides head off into the Cotswolds as far as Chipping Campden. You can expect an average for the former of 17mph and the latter 18mph+. Neither of these rides will be stopping for coffee.
Sunday 10am Intermediate Ride: The second Sunday intermediate ride is is going to Chacombe where the delights of the George await you at the half-time coffee and cake stop. Expect 16mph w
All rides meet at Broadribb cycles 15 minutes before the departure time. It’s important you pick a ride that’s commensurate with your ability levels.
