Weekend rides 30/1 June/July

The fantastic spell of warm weather looks set to continue this weekend, will our record-breaking membership levels be matched with record numbers out on their bikes for the five rides on offer.

Saturday 10am Gentle Cafe Ride: Lower Brailes is the destination for the shortest of the rides this weekend, 27.5 miles taken at a gentle pace of 12-14mph so suitable for all riders. We will be stopping at The George and meeting up with the Intermediate ride.

Saturday 10am Intermediate Ride: The same coffee and cake stop at Lower Brailes with a few extra miles thrown in and at a faster pace, between 15-16mph.

Sunday Long Intermediate and Fast Rides 9am: The long intermediate and fast rides go up to Napton. You can expect an average for the former of 17mph and the latter 18mph+ over the 54 miles, as it’s a reasonably flat route the pace may, if all agree, be even higher. Neither of these rides will be stopping for coffee.

Sunday 10am Intermediate Ride: The second Sunday intermediate ride returns to one of our favourite places, Wyatts Farm Shop. Expect 16mph average speed over the 33 mile ride.

All rides meet at Broadribb cycles 15 minutes before the departure time. It’s important you pick a ride that’s commensurate with your ability levels.
