It’s everyone’s favourite club 25 mile time trial this Wednesday and the last time in 2018 we ride this distance so you’ll no doubt be chomping at the bit at the thought of just one more climb up Warmington Hill. Awaiting the victor is the Russell Memorial Bowl which was first raced for in 1943 in memory of the then Racing Secretary, Jim Russell.
Sign-on will be from 1800 at the layby outside the National Herb Centre and the first rider will be pushed off at 1900 by the (hopefully fully healed) right arm of Luke Sherlock with Lydia Watts and Team Cherwell reminding us which roundabouts to turn at.
New for this season is the ability to register taking part on the club’s Facebook group which will have a message from Oli Wright or Roger Gollicker from Tuesday onwards. Entry is free for club members who have paid the TT supplement, £2 otherwise and £4 for non-members.
