The Tour de France has started and produced some great racing already, the good weather is set to continue this weekend and we’ve got a bunch of rides planned to get you all out on your bikes and enjoy our beautiful corner of the world
Saturday 10am Gentle Cafe Ride: The 13mph average speed Gentle Cafe ride is going out to Kineton for coffee and cake half time refreshments as part of a 30 mile ride.
Saturday 10am Intermediate Ride: The same coffee and cake stop at Kineton with a few extra miles thrown in and at a faster pace, between 15-16mph over the 33.5m route.
Sunday Long Intermediate and Fast Rides 9am: The long intermediate and fast rides go out to Silverstone. You can expect an average for the former of 17mph and the latter 18mph+ over the 54 miles, as it’s a reasonably flat route the pace may, if all agree, be even higher. Neither of these rides will be stopping for coffee.
Sunday 10am Intermediate Ride: The second Sunday intermediate ride takes in some culture at the National Trust location at Canons Ashby. Expect 16mph average speed over the 38mile ride.
All rides meet at Broadribb cycles 15 minutes before the departure time. It’s important you pick a ride that’s commensurate with your ability levels.
