TT#22 KH5 time trial. The hill climb

After the hotly-contested downhill freewheel competition a few weeks ago was predictably dominated by the heavier club members, the mountain goats can get their revenge on Wednesday in the hill climb event, a short sprint up Burton Dassett which last year saw George Pym break Peter Dumbreck’s course record stopping the clock at 1m03s only for fellow-pro Will Fox to go under the minute with a final time of 59s. Will this be beaten in 2018?

Sign-on takes place at Burton Dassett from 1730 and closes at 1810 promptly for an 1830 start, please park at the top of the hill as there is no parking around the start line area. New for this season is the ability to pre-register on the club’s Facebook group which will have a message from Keri Williams from Monday onwards. Entry is £2 for club members who haven’t paid the TT supplement and £4 for non-members.

The timekeeper is Keri Williams, Simon Kisley is pushing with Stan Morgan and Team Cherwell as our marshals.
