Update 0820 Sunday – due to a band of heavy rain spreading across the area Sunday morning we’ve taken the decision to cancel Sunday’s rides
It’s a bank holiday weekend which probably means all four seasons will be experienced out on the roads for the rides we’ve got planned which are as follows:
Saturday 10am Gentle Cafe Ride: The 12-14mph average speed Gentle Cafe ride is going to Wyatts farm shop for coffee and cake, a 26 mile ride that’s suitable for most riders.
Saturday 10am Intermediate Ride: The same coffee and cake stop at Wyatts but faster at 15-16mph over a slighly longer route of 33.5m
Sunday Long Intermediate and Fast Rides 9am: The long intermediate and fast rides do a loop out to Moreton. You can expect an average for the former of 17mph and the latter 18mph+ over the 54.6 miles, as it’s a reasonably flat route the pace may, if all agree, be even higher. Neither of these rides will be stopping for coffee.
Sunday 10am Intermediate Ride: The second Sunday intermediate ride goes to Charlton for coffee and cake. Expect 16mph average speed over the 34.9m ride.
All rides meet at Broadribb cycles 15 minutes before the departure time. It’s important you pick a ride that’s commensurate with your ability levels.
