After the cancellation of the 2018 Hardriders race due to snow and freezing conditions on the course, we’re hoping for better weather for the 2019 event.
But what is Hardriders I hear you ask? Well it’s our traditional first race of each season and represents a real test of winter training, fitness and bike preparation. It takes place on a relatively flat 23 mile course, with the single exception of a descent and then subsequent climb back up the legendary 17% Sunrising Hill.
As it’s an Open event, entries must be made via the CTT website which is now taking bookings, there won’t be any on the day entries as it’s an Open event and early entry is advised to ensure you secure a starting place as this popular event can sell out.
The race HQ is adjacent to the start line and there will be plenty of coffee and cake to welcome home those who take up the challenge.
