The third of our winter series of time trials takes place on Saturday November 16th and follows the format of our successful summer series but with a few tweaks. Fingers crossed the rather inclement weather we have been experiencing passes by.
Races are held every two weeks plus there’s an extra event thrown in on Boxing Day for those in need of a break from the relatives and rather than use courses over a range of distances we will race on the K4/20 course only.
The start time is 1pm with registration open from midday until 12:40pm at the usual sign-on location of Ludlow Drive. One rule change we have introduced is the mandatory fitting of a strong flashing rear light to riders’ bikes to help with visibility and the use of a flashing front light is also recommended. Because of the risk of adverse weather impacting the safe running of the event a decision whether to go ahead or not will be taken at 9am on the morning of the ride with any cancellation announced here and on the club’s Facebook group.
