The Norris family have really caught the time trialling bug this season and in only a relatively short time are getting very good at it. On Sunday, father and son, Matt and Luke, travelled all the way south to compete in New Forest CC’s 10 mile Open TT.
Starting near Lyndhurst, the undulating course is mainly on the B3056, taking riders through some stunning local scenery, with the only negative being the windy conditions. The event attracted a strong 100 rider entry, so Luke’s second place overall, with a time of 20.57 is another amazing achievement. First place went to a very promising junior rider Thomas Day (Zannata Galloo) with a time of 19.36.

Father Matt had a good ride as well, finishing 29th on 23.29, the 12th veteran category rider home.
Don’t forget if you’re still out there competing at weekends, then do let us know. Please send as much detail as you can to firstname.lastname@example.org including if possible a photo
