Stretch into a new season

Yoga for cyclists.

On Tuesday March 1st a new yoga class will begin and run for 6 weeks. Our new Yogi Julie Burnett, will be concentrating on stretching our limbs, muscles. Preparing for the new cycling season, as we go into Spring and Summer.

You don’t have to travel to a venue as it will all be done over a Zoom link, so you can learn to stretch in the comfort of your home, with the kettle on hand for afterwards.

The session starts at 7:00PM , the meeting will open 5 minutes before the start time. Its a good idea to log in a few minutes before that.

You will need some props, a yoga block or cushion, belt or towel.

I will plan the sessions as I see suiting preparing for cycling season but if there are any particular postures, injuries, muscle groups etc anyone would like me to cover then I am happy to try to incorporate as we go along.

Lets get stretching those muscles, the rewards are, less prone to injury, quicker recovery after a ride and good for the mind as well as the body.
