A Club Barbecue at The Rose and Crown, Charlton, OX17 3DP – one of our popular coffee stops. 
Entertainment will include the game of Aunt Sally. For those that don’t know, Wikipedia says – “it is a traditional English game, usually played in pub gardens and fairgrounds, in which players throw sticks or battens at a ball, known as a ‘dolly’, balanced on top of a stick, traditionally a model of an old woman’s head”.
Starting time will be 3.30pm on Saturday 20th August.
Cost £13.00 per head, children £9.00 – please book via appropriate payment amount, direct to club account (Sort code 53-61-33 Account 65953886 ref. Surname/BBQ). Vegetarians will be catered for.and there is ample parking and a large garden area.
