Richard Santhouse was racing at MK bowl last Thursday in the men’s Cat3, this was the last summer race at MK. The race started a fairly quick pace, faster than previous weeks. At half way Richard jumped into a breakaway group of about 6, each doing some turns on the front. Some riders bridge over to form a group of 10. There was plenty of hard efforts on the front to try and split the group up. The group of 10 was still together on the last lap, meaning a bunch sprint on the last corner.
Richard managed to overtake some riders during the sprint, finished in 4th. Richard now has a total of 24 points in Cat 3.
