Nicolas Narraway, set a new course record on the new Banbury Star K4/10B 10 mile time trial course on the 28th of August, setting a time of 19 minutes and 49 seconds.
Nicolas, who hails from Bermuda, rides for Team California as a Professional and has been riding in France and Spain this summer gaining experience. He is a time trial specialist and is finishing off his summer with some races in the UK, before heading back to warmer climes.
On a warm and relatively still evening, there were some good times on this – still new – course with Ed Anderson setting a new personal best on his lovely new bike. His time of 21-29 was good enough for second, with John Simkins third in 22-46. Daughter Peggy took the fastest lady award with an excellent 24-40.
So there were lots of smiling faces at the finish, particularly when Josh Lovell politely asked Nicolas not to come again!
